I am Dr. Awad Al-Karim Al-Tijani Al-Faki, currently serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Production at the University of Sinnar. I have more than thirty years of academic and research experience in the fields of animal production, poultry nutrition, and livestock improvement.
Throughout my career, I have supervised numerous M.Sc. and Ph.D. theses, and served as an internal and external examiner at several Sudanese universities. My work extends beyond academia to include community development programs and livestock improvement projects in collaboration with international organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
My academic mission focuses on linking scientific research with practical field applications, enhancing animal production education and research, and contributing to the sustainable development of the agricultural and livestock sectors in Sudan .
