The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sinnar plays a vital role in advancing veterinary education and supporting animal health and production, especially in the southeastern region of Sudan. The college’s location in Dinder, adjacent to the globally recognized Dinder Biosphere Reserve, places it at a unique intersection between veterinary medicine, wildlife, and environmental conservation.
Despite the infrastructural and staffing challenges, we remain steadfast in our mission to produce qualified veterinarians, conduct impactful research, and serve our communities. We believe that with the support of stakeholders, donors, and academic partners, the faculty can become a beacon of excellence and innovation in veterinary science.
